Family training involves the person and/or their family and is for someone living in the family's home. IHS with training focuses on an adult's own skill goals. Ask which option matches who needs training and where the person lives.

Use something observable. For a meal goal, note which steps you completed and where you wanted help. Record whether a picture guide, reminder, or demonstration was useful. Agree with the support team on what to record and who receives updates, including your preferences about family involvement.
