What is Homemaker Services?

Homemaker support starts with the household tasks you need help completing. Cleaning remains the main service; the authorized type determines whether incidental home-management or daily-living assistance can also be included. Bring a short task list rather than assuming every housekeeping, meal, or personal-care request fits one visit.

How to check service eligibility in Minnesota

Funding routes include BI, CAC, CADI, DD, and EW waivers, Alternative Care (AC), and Essential Community Supports (ECS), each with program eligibility rules. Your case manager must confirm the assessed need, setting, homemaker type, and nonduplicative tasks. Program coverage does not establish We Care's available tasks or schedule.
